A major problem with homosexuality, besides it is a sin in christian, Jewish and Islamic faiths, is it can open many doors that is very very wrong. For example, There was a woman named Virginia Ramey Mollenkott who wrote a book on the omnigender society. This Omnigender society would make every sexual choice legal. One of these choices is the pedophile choice. In fact, the origination NAMbLA (That's North American Man/boy Lover Association) was part of the International Lesbian and Gay Association (ILGA). This would bring a wave of child abuse. Even Bill Clinton signed a bill withholding money to the UN because the UN granted United Nations consultative status to the ILGA. Many of your Gay-Lesbians support the NAMbLA.

The Bible does not call homosexuality an abomination, it calls having intercourse with male temple prostitutes (a prepare of the religions of alternative gods) an abomination. The sin is having different gods in the previous Yahweh. Nowhere does the two testomony condemn the state of being gay. yet i like the Christian copout that it is not Leviticus they are following, yet passages from the recent testomony. The NT prohibitions are grounded in Leviticus, so as that are condemning homosexuality in accordance with a pretend impact of Leviticus, then ignoring the different greater suitable than 600 commandments that they do in comparison to. Bur, on condition that Christianity immediately could be Salad Bar Christianity (even Catholicism - basically seem on the recent "sins" that the Pope invented), what else can everybody assume. The Bible isn't a e book to stay via, that's a e book used to justify doing what human beings elect to do.

You're right! Good for you.
OTHER ABOMINATIONS IN THE BIBLE:
Eating shellfish.(Leviticus 11:10), (Leviticus 11:11) AND (Leviticus 11:12) Eating pork. (Leviticus 11:7)
Adultery (Lev 18:20), Remarrying one's wife after she's had another husband in between (Deut 24:4) Having sex with a woman while she’s on her period (Lev 18:19) Trimming one's beard (Lev 19:26-28) Taking out a loan, or giving a loan and charging interest. (Psalms 15-1-5) Wearing a material made of wool and linen, (Deuteronomy 22:11) Wearing any blended material, period. (Leviticus 19:19)
Of course, when something THEY do is shown to be an abomination, many abominators (who quote the Bible to condemn others) will claim that that’s not what the Bible MEANT. (So now the Bible is suddenly open for re-interpretation--and of course, it'll always be in THEIR favor.) Fundamentalists change their entire methodology of scriptural interpretation when it suits their purpose, even when dealing with verses that are a just couple of sentences away from each other! Remember, this isn't about faith whatsoever. It's about people who have pre-existing anti-gay prejudice in their hearts. They selectively quote the Christian Bible to attempt to affirm and legitimize that pre-existing prejudice. You don't see the same people condemning those who eat shrimp cocktail, do you? And that's named as an abomination THREE times—in the SAME book of the Bible!

Your homo question:
1 Corinthians 6:9-10
9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
How you act and think:
2 Timothy 4:3-4
3For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
Sorry you choose the wide path and not the narrow.

I am a disiplined student of the manuscripts, and you just keep on convincing yourself that Scripture says its just fine and dandy. Love? Yeah, I saw that "love" - it parading down a major highway in Philadelphia on a float. Yeah, those two hairy men in the pink babydoll nighties who kissed and fondled each other every time they saw a camera on them -
yeah, love, uh huh, no regard for the small
children that walked to and from their elementary school that saw that horrid behavior from adults who are SUPPOSED to be grown MEN. The pink feather boas were quite trendy, I must say.
Obviously, nobody is gonna get through your thick heads that you are not supposed to let that little tickle in your panties rule your life. Nor should your little tickle end up changing the entire fabric of society.
I know, I know, you get that tickle and you have no self-control, no self-disipline, no self-respect. Just a tickle and anything thats in the room will do just fine, thankyou.
Why the controversy?
How about because gays have taken the circle of life and rearranged it into a straight line - a line that ends. God aside, even mother nature herself would not condone a behavior that would lead to the demise of the human race. Normally nature condones that which continues a species, not ends it.
Go take a cold shower; you should be ashamed of yourself.

Mostly because of the "gross!" factor being so strong that they want to get rid of it even when it's not in their sight. Then they go on to complain how gays are promoting their life style. Little do they realize their actually promoting heterosexuality almost everywhere, so what right do they have to complain? Men usually talk about women (and vice versa), most fictional couples are heterosexual, men and women hold hands and kiss in public, and more. Homophobias only seem to notice it when gays do it because it's so uncommon compared to what they do.

Some people just need to attack the actions of others in order to validate themselves. That's how many people are with regards to homosexuality. I'm with you in believing that their love should be recognized and that they should be given the same rights and priviliges as every other member of society.
I just really think that people need to feel that they are closer to God, or better off, or more righteous than others and homosexuality has given people an opportunity to exploit. I always ask people why it is that the Bible/Christianity teaches that all sins are equal (except blasphemy) but then people attack homosexuality so vehemently? Those same people sin everyday (i.e. swearing, coveting, adultery, etc.). Hypocrisy!

If homosexuality isn't a sin, then adultery and fornication isn't a sin either. And if you think sex is just an itty bitty sin, then how do you explain the AIDS epidemic.

Hey, if Christians could not waste their time and the country's energy on blaming homosexuals for all of the world's evils, then they would have to address real problems. This is nothing something that they have any interest in. Haven't you noticed?

I'm no homophobe. It's true that I don't like to think about what gay guys do. On the other hand what gay chicks do can be wonderfully hot.
