Define "Founding Fathers". You are limiting that to just the signers of Declaration of Independence? Are including people like G Washington, and others who were fighting instead? What about the authors of the Constitution - which varies from the Declaration?

To make a list of how many and what they believed is difficult.

Also to separate Christians from Deist is difficult. The major of Deist at that time probably considered themselves Christians. The Deist belief was taught in many Christian churches at that time.

The culture in which America was founded was very much influenced by the Protestant Christian faith. The ideals of personal liberty, freedom. democracy, etc came out of the Protestant Reformation and the rejecting of the idea of Divine Right of Kings, the need of a priest to approach God, the ownership of everything by the government and the church, etc.

While not everyone involved in the founding of America was a Christian, or even a Theist, the vast majority of the principles on which the nation was founded came out of Protestant theology.

1) It depends on who you count as the Founding Fathers. Do you limit them to the signers of the Declaration of Independence, or are there others that you include? 2) I'm afraid I don't know about this portion of your question. 3) Of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, at least 30 were Episcopalians/Anglicans. Many were of other varieties of Christianity.

You will get debate on several of them. Washington is a great example of one we really don't know. He sure acted like a Christian. He attended church very regularly, never publicly said anything opposed to religion, etc.... But curiously after he died his own minister said that he was a Deist. How can you really know?

116,mostly Freemasons and Merrranos. 43 deists. Hardly any Christians. All wealthy. Almost all slave-owners. Didn't want to pay taxes;what we would call tax-resisters,and willing to shed a lot of blood to save big on taxes. Killed anyone who got in their way; most tories fled to New Brunswick. A bad lot and you can sure see the lack of any real value system. I guess they used situation ethics as a substitute. They're nothing to be proud of,that's for sure.
