A Typically, some bumps will appear right after waxing. Clogged pores and hair follicles are usually to blame -- which is why exfoliating (both before and after waxing) is so important, says Dorota Lisowski, an aesthetician at the Brigitte Mansfield Spa in New York City. Right before waxing, gently exfoliate with a loofah (like Bath & Body Works Spa Mitt, $8; 800-395-1001) and/or a mild scrub like Origins Swept Away with jojoba beads and aloe ($16; origins.com). Immediately after waxing, Lisowski suggests applying a mixture of one part baby oil and one part salicylic-acid-based astringent (try Neutrogena Oil-Free Deep Clean Astringent, $5.50; at drugstores). The baby oil helps soothe skin while salicylic acid keeps pores and hair follicles clear. You can also dab the area with a salicylic-acid-based product like Tend Skin ($20; tendskin.com) or an antibacterial gel like Sally Hansen Bikini Plus Antibacterial Pain Relief Gel ($6; at drugstores), which helps calm itching as well as irritation. Continue exfoliat ing for at least three days afterward.

dont get it done that morning you will likely be a bit swollen, red and sensitive. Get it done the day before and ask for a hollywood. they usually give you some soothing gel and baby oil to put on the area afterwards. But in the beginning of my first waxes i had to take piriton tablet after the wax ,so i started taking one before every wax. Now i just take good strength paracetomal before hand and apply my own soothing cream johnsons baby naturals later on in the day. any cream with aloe should help. but dont worry its really quick anyway. you wont notice any regrowth starting untill about 3 days after

i'm really not sure about the whiteheads-when i do bikini waxing on clients i always tell them to use a gentle exfoliater on that area before a waxing session and to use a professional product after wards such as finipil which gets rid of any bacteria in that open follicle you've just removed the hair from-i'm not sure if you can get that product on a site without a professional hair license so over the counter stuff that does work, not quite as fast, but does work would be " Bikini Zone" cream-in most drugstores- for about $7.00

I really don't recommend brazilian waxing. For some people with finer hair it's allright, but if you tend to have coarser hair it can be a problem. I had the same thing happen. I haven't been waxed for over a year (shave only) and I still have scars. Try to leave the ingrowns alone, don't pick at them, and use something like Tend Skin or PFB Vanish. Both have Salicylic acid in them which will help dry the ingrowns. Good luck.

've suffered with acne for awhile now, however, I think treating acne takes time. I got rid of of acne by drinking lots of water and eating very healthy, which was the best remedy by far. Also, washing my face twice daily. ,However, using natural cleansers made my face feel, look healthier, and clearer. Though, having a workout plan also takes a big impact on your skin, ALSO, NEVER TOUCH OR PICK AT YOUR FACE. But, if you absolutely have to, get two q-tips and squeeze the puss out gently. Then, put an ice cube on it so the redness will go away. Also, changing your pillowcases every other night helps too. I hope I helped. :)

Time girl, time. It can take a week or more for those bumps to go away. That's what happens with a wax down there. Just because it hadn't happened before, doesn't mean it won't happen again.

Sounds like ingrown hairs.
Try wetting a washcloth with warm water and applying it to the affected area, that way it will help the pores to open up and bring any infection or the white heads to the top. Keep it clean and it should heal up in a few days.
