Ok, let's try this again. I need a verse that demonstrates that because of sin (and Adam and Eve's sin) that we are separated from God. I know this is what happened, but is there any verses that say it specifically?

Ok, at least that we are separated before Jesus or sacrifices...

Let me start by saying that I have a Christian view of Scripture. It is all true. It does not contradict. That said here is your verses
Genesis 2:17
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Genesis 3:19
In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Adam Die spiritually that day being separated from God. He didn't physically die for many years... Jim

Romans 5:12
Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death sread to all men because all sinned -

Romans 5:18
Therefore as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men.

That isn't exactly what you were asking for but may help. The whole passage Romans 5:12-21 talks about that, also.

Look at oneplace.com, they have some Bible study tools that may help.

I don't blame you for not seeing that when Adam and Eve sinned against God, man has cut off(separated) the relationship with God. I can understand also why you don't see it that clear coz' Christ has come to save us and we don't feel that separation anymore.

Genesis the first two chapters explain how the "God" of the hebrews creates mankind. (Adam and Eve) Right? Read it for the way it was "written." Adam "formed" from the dust of the ground and God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and became a living soul. (Gen 2:7) The hebrew word tells the story with one fact "missing." FORMED of the dust of the ground the Jewish God, is NOT spiritually "connected to that which he "formed." That's "another" misconception in these holy words that this GOD "created" Adam. The words written say FORMED, not CREATED. Even in Chapter 1:26
it states, "Let US, (not me) make man in OUR (not my) image." but then it changes to singular meaning in verse 27, "So God created man in his image." IF Adam had NO spiritual connection to the God of his creation, would it not be logical to imply it is because this God could not CREATE, and was the "fallen one" of heaven? Let's assume I am "wrong, then "why" is it this "God" creates "woman" from "Adam" and not as a "fresh" creation? Hebrews recorded "only" what they could "remember" for THIS is from a much OLDER "faith." Only thing IS, that in the "original" faith mankind is GIVEN a "spiritual" connection to god in heaven. That faith is the ancient faith of egypt and the Lord of Creation of which I am a priest. THIS God, NOT the hebrew God, is the one which offered mankind grace, wisdom and knowledge to RESIST the devil, the "creator" of this species. Not "everything
" but just this species. Read what Yezua (Jesus said)
John 8:44 - "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do, He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of 'his own,' for he is a liar and the father of it." Mankind NEVER fell from grace for from the beginning it was BORN without the grace of the father in heaven. When Jesus came, he brought with him much more than just grace, he brought with him the authority to offer everyone a "holy spirit" from heaven to guide them in "this" world. THAT which belongs to the "devil....."

Are you referring to "falling short"?
Are you referring to the fall of Adam and Eve into sin?
Are you talking about the fall of those Angelic beings?
Are you talking about the fall of Satan?

Summer, winter, spring and fall?

Our own sins separate us from God...Isa 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

[The Fall: Romans 5:12 I think [dewcoons] said it best ]
Gen 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire [shall be] to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
Gen 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; ...

In the Bible, "death" means separation from God. In Romans 5, Paul deals with that teaching that through Adam, the death which God told him would follow his sin (a separation form a God) is passed to every person because of Adam's action. But also salvation is made available to every person through Jesus' actions.

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15 But not as the offense, so also is the free gift. For if through the offense of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offenses unto justification.
17 For if by one man's offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offense of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
20 Moreover the law entered, that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
