Is there really any normal guy that really doesn't totally love and prefer a flowing, long, glorious mane, to that crappy, short, hideous, cropped mess that some women mysteriously think looks good?

I concede that there are multitudes of beautiful and attractive ladies with a short look, but my opinion (which of course is only my own) is that short hair can majorily detract from some beautiful women who would look much more striking and feminine with a long look.

I'm with you, super short hair on a girl is just. . . odd. Very few women can pull this off (and even when they pull it off, it's still not my definition of beautiful). To each his/her own I guess.

Not winning any friends here are you, the idea of a stereo type is just that, only controlling men want women to have long hair wear 6 inch heels, bleached blond etc. Time for men to get on board with women are free to look how they wish and the only one who has to be happy with they way they look is themselves, only shallow people are obsessed with looks.

Many women go with that style because it's easy to take care of. I do not blow dry or curl my hair, but it still takes me fifteen minutes longer than my friends who spend a lot of time with hair appliances. It's also cheaper. Some women even go with it because long hair causes headaches. It's hot in the summer, wind makes it hard to see around and its gets in ones face. There are work places where it's dangerous to have. Long hair also thins more quickly and that makes it look flat, lifeless, and distinctly unglorious. Short hair tends to remain thicker, longer, and can be styles in ways that look full of life.

My husband personally hates my flowing, long, glorious mane. It gets in his nose, in his eyes, in his ears, in his mouth. It hurts when he pulls it. It's impossible to ignore if he finds a strand in his food. It annoys the hell out of me when he wants to drive with the windows down. It picks up the stench of every place we go to and I have to smell it.

I love my hair, wouldn't cut it for the world. He loves me, so he's learned to develop of fondness for my hair.

You might find this surprising, but most women choose hairstyles for themselves, not for men.

Truth be told - we dont care if guys prefer long hair, we do it for ourselves. Usually because we think its a crock to have to F*ck with our hair for half an hour to an hour so some superficial buttmunch will be bothered to look at us, let alone speak to us.
Just not worth the effort - sorry.

short hair is a sign of confidence in a woman, long hair is a distraction and something to hide behind. I find excessive facial hair on men to be a total turn off. who wants to kiss a face full of hair?

You have to understand that women dress and groom, to first impress other women. If you think that's bad have you seen a woman with a bald fade(similar to a crew cut).

My guy loves my flowing long hair. Most guys love long hair. They fret that girls will cut their hair short.

Some girls with short hair look good though.

You are a wired person.

But really........we don't give a crap what you think :P

You didn't make friends easily as a child did you?
I have short hair and if it's so ugly, why are hot guys always trying to pick me up?

Well, I think smoking a cigarette is really unappealing. That haircut looks really good on some women...Halle Barry for example.

Actually yeah--a mullet. :) Or long hair on an old guy, when it's all thin and dry and wiry and half-grey. I just want to say, "chop it off already!"
