Typically, yes. The bowels and bladder with both relax and expel contents.
It also not unusual for the corpse to regurgitate. I've seen it happen.
A corpse can also "belch" as accumulated gasses release.
Here's one thing that is really creepy...if a person is post cardiac arrest, the drugs that are still in the system can cause muscle spasms, causing a corpse to move and in some cases, actually sit up. The first time I saw that, it freaked me out.

ya dude, pretty gross...
dunno why it happens, your intestines are muscle tissue, they must relax and cause the bowels to relase. Might even contract in rigomortis to force it out.

Yes they sometimes do as well as the other area. But for some reason it happens with some and not with others.

yes it does, when you die everything is just relaxed including bowels and fecal matter and urine release..doesnt mean in all cases this will happen

I think it does depending on the position of the corpse. The muscle functions give out, so the feces just poops out.

generally all reflexes and functions let go..
It is very common for the bowels to "let go" when you expire..
