...based on the way the members of that denomination act?

Like... who is the most kind, educated...

I guess I mean, based on the level of Christ-like attributes.

i guarantee you i will get thumbs down for it, but i would have to say mormons. collectively, as a group, i haven't seen another christian sect that actually PRACTICES what they believe better than mormons. they are moral, respectful, clean people. never met one that wasn't a kind person.

edit, unforuntately some people don't consider them christians (even though they believe in jesus) so probably no one will agree with me

I couldn't just choose by the way the members act, but also, by if they contradict the Bible, if they are honest, caring, obedient to Christ. Being the most educated has nothing to do with it. I would like to see a church that does not twist the Bible to mean what they want, One who the members are all equally interested in serving God, one who does not think he is better than everyone else, or richer. MOst of all , I would like to see a church that doesn't have clicks.

Christianity has been split into over 38,000 different denominations, sects and cults setting christian against christian and christians against everyone else! God's work? Hardly! It must be the Devil and the Antichrist working together to divide, conquer and destroy christianity from the inside!

I have studied all of the major Christian denominations and quite a few of the non denominational religions as well. I have been to alot of churches of both denominational and non denominational I never really felt the presence of the Lord in any of these churches, never felt that the message they were delivering was the true message of God. One day the Lord showed me to go to one more church and it had been one I had not been to yet. It happened to be the Catholic Church and as soon as I walked into the narthex I could feel the very presence of the Lord. So I stayed and listened to the liturgy and have never been more aware of God the I was at that moment and I continue to feel His presence. Iam enrolled in RCIA and will be baptized and confirmed Easter 2008. I absolutely love the Catholic Church. I have found that they teach the fullness of Christ and His message.Where in the other churches I have been to did not teach that fullness of Christ or the fullness of His message to us.

Wow, ummm.... there are "bad" people in every denomination and religion. I think I would choose Lutheran ELCA. Why? Because I grew up with those kind of people and the majority seemed to be God-fearing, kind people. There were lots of older people in our church and also families that were well-grounded and stable in their lives. I supposed that helped me to see the good in them.

I guess that I would have to choose the mormons. They always give service to other people but keep it away from publicity, They are humble about the service they provide.

Most of them are Honest, Chaste, and carry strong testamonies of the things they believe.

They live their belief making them a desirable religion.

I have been to many different denominations in my search for a home church. In every church I have found non-Christ-like behaviors so I guess it would have to be: Baptist for their kindness, Catholics for the serenity or peace, Church of Christ for their sameness, Assemblies of God for their jubilance and finally Non-Denominational because they have found out there is no way everyone is right and you must make your own decisions.

It doesnt really matter, because you are there to worship god and most denominations/sects of christianity all teach the same thing. There are a few cults such as LDS and JWs to be aware of

I have already chosen, and I would choose again and again to be LDS!
LDS members are some of the nicest people I've ever met in my life. They are always willing to serve others, are very selfless and kind. I love their close families and the way they live their lives!

I already have choose based on which one looks like the Church of the Bible. I go to an independent Baptist Church because they preach/teach the TRUTH according to the Bible.

denominations are man made, the true Church is independent and local.

I would base it entirely on how closely the teaching matched what Scripture actually says. I don't want anymore to waste my time listening to someone guesses and lies. If the pastor teaches the truth, those hearing it will be living the truth. Those who don't want to live the truth will either convert or leave. Humans don't put up with what they disagree with for long.
