wow this is a tough situation. Take vitamins, and make sure you get enough protein daily. You should also contact a doctor to recommend an over the counter minoxidil liquid or foam. Good luck.

There really isn't any advice. It happens...hair falls out after having a baby. As for the bald spots, that sounds like a medical condition called allopecia...usually caused by stress. In that case, I would recommend seeing a doctor.

As long as you are breast feeding the hair keeps falling out - at least that was the case with me.
I also lost my hair with both my kids and it didn't stop completely but it did get a lot less as soon as I stopped breastfeeding my second when she turned 2 years old.
Now I've got these chunks growing back and I almost wanted to pull a Britney Spears and shave it all off.
But it's getting better. Here is what does help...
Take your pre-natal vitamins for as long as you breastfeed.

Its because your hormone levels are out of balance. There really is not anything you can do to prevent it unless you have your doctor put you on birth control pills to balance your hormones. If you are worried about your thinning hair, try Rogain for woman, I have 5 aunts with thinning hair and my mother and 3 used it and it really does work well

This is a normal reaction. Your hormones are leveling back out. Try limiting how often you wash your hair. Sometimes you can shower and instead of using shampoo and conditioner and can just use conditioner. That is what I did. Also the type of shampoo you use. Pantene makes my hair fall out alot faster than other shampoos. I hope this helps.
