Some Muslims are so hypocrites that makes me lough, like Iran is another country, yes...giving weapons to all the lunatics, predicting the end of Israel, speaking about "The West", "The infidels" "the Kafir" even "fulfilling a prophecy", imagine when this bunch of fanatics can have in a rock sack any radioactive substance...cause they are so coward that after that they will deny everything as Osama Bin Laden. As the 34 terrorists judged in London, caught on CCTV trying to detonate themselves, pointing the rock sack against pregnant women and children and then declaring themselves innocent and telling that was just a joke...
To trust Iran, yes...I trust them to start the world war against Islam.

The saddest part is the worlds failure to respond. If the west doesn't I'm sure Israel will launch a premtive strike. Which will invite retalliation and worldwide condemnation. And possible a nuclear response if they are heavily attacked. This is another reason why it is imperitive to have the U.S. in the region. They are already on land and would not have to launch a sole sea based operation. I regret having these feelings as I don't have an ounce of dislike for the Iranian people. But they will most likely get the worst of it.

Well, the Uk has had Nuclear power stations for a long time, and we've been fairly warlike of late. Does that give anyone else the right to say that we shouldn't have nuclear power?
What I'm trying to say is that nuclear power and nuclear weapons are two very different things, and I don't see how we in the west can be so keen on promoting Nuclear energy as the clean safe power source of the future, whilst at the same time telling other nations they can't have it because we don't agree with their politics/religion. Although I'm not especially pro-Iran, I have to agree when their government says 'sod off-it's none of your business.
Thanks for the thumbs down-would have been concerned had I not got one.
Here's a question-why is this in the religion and spirituality section?? Is this just old fashioned religious bigotry?
I remember when the world didn't trust the Catholics, and when they didn't trust the Jews. Or is bigotry alright now?

No I don't trust Iran for having nuclear power any more than I would North Korea or China. But we are living in the end times and these things are coming to pass according to God's plan.
I do think he will take his Children out of harms way before a nuclear war.

i've got confidence Iran has the final to self selection as a sovereign state. ought to that contain a nuclear power software, so be it. We easily have the final to impose financial sanctions for this reason, yet then we ought to constantly no longer be shocked while retaliation of a few style or yet another takes place for interfering with such self selection of a sovereign state. EDIT: watching the above responses, i'm struck via the particular undeniable fact that everybody believes we can basically impose our will. We could be waiting to, yet then there will be persevered repercussions and we will not all act shocked while yet another construction blows up or plane comes down.

Iran aims to be the anchor of a new eastern block. An Iranian nuclear umbrella would represent a major shift in the balance of power and, given the rhetoric and obvious fanaticism of the Iranian leadership, could easily lead to large-scale violence.

Iran is a country that has repeatedly stated that Israel and the United States must be annihilated (among other things). They have not hidden their intentions in the least, and eventually, should they get "THE BOMB", they'll use it because they sincerely believe that's what Allah wants them to do!
Would you trust someone who looked you in the eye and said "Sooner or later I'll getchya!" ?

do you seriouly think that that US & UK don't? they only want to have absolute power over the middle-east so they can (as we can obvioulsy see) destroly thier countires by starting wars & promoting thier arms sale & have access to their oil.
I think Iran is taking a stand against the Western bullies who want absolute power. They don't like to see little countries being independent.
(sorry i hope I'm not being aggressive or hosyile, it's just my view of things).
