Wow, sorry for all the rude, inconsidrate answers above. Anyway, I am a cancer and we are famous for having bad tempers and being moody. However, i don't think that all of his bad attributes are directly related to his sign at all. I am a cancer, and as a water sign, we tend to let things go with the tide, if you know what I mean. So maybe he being a cancer isn't the issue. That being said, I just came out of a bad relationship of 3 years and sometimes having the space is a good thing. Embrace the situation you have been put in and I think it will make a world of difference. Good Luck!

Well your a LEO your temper has risen. That is your problem right now. Leo's like to have it thier way or no way. I am a cancer female and I am not moody, nor am I nice when I want to be. I am nice where it is accepted, and maybe you 2 are like oil and water and if you are into this zodiac stuff go for a sign that you would be more compatible with. I know how to deal with Leo's because my son and my mother are Leo's .....and it gets very stressful for me because I am a peacemaker. Cancers are very homemaking and loving and true some are moody. However when they feel threatened by someone be it emotionally or even physically they clam up and hide thier emotions and can be taken for moody especially males. Sounds to me like he has not been comfortable with you for a while, he is NOT, going by the zodiac, the best sign for you.
Good Luck to you! Find an air sign.

I am a cancerian female, and yes even I can get this way. One can say it is in our nature. We tend to retreat, when we have been hurt (into our shell). We are very moody as we are ruled by the moon. Do some research on a cacerian person, look at how we are described by it. Cacerians can be one of the most difficult people to get along with, when it comes to the zodiac signs.

Hey Baby, What’s Your Sign? – The Cautious CANCER
Cancer Zodiac
By Emily Battaglia, LifeScript Staff Writer

Is a Cancer represented in the Zodiac by a crab because they’re so crabby? Well, while a Cancer is invariably moody, the actual physical description of a crab more accurately describes a Cancer’s personality.
A Cancer is enclosed by a hard outer shell often difficult to penetrate. But those that are lucky enough to catch a crab get to see the soft and vulnerable meat of the inner Cancer. They use their shell to protect themselves, and when they feel like they can trust their environment, they come out to play. To find out what makes a Cancer so cautious and contradictory, read on. I do not believe fully about Cancer men. I dated one. He was really charming and always happy. He cheated on me. He was not moody. He could be romantic. His best characteristic was his charm. He is married now with children. We are friends.
Your ex probably won't call you because you both broke up with each other. It doesn't sound like you were a good match. There are other men who are out there who would love to date you. First you need to let go of this Cancer man. It wasn't meant to be. Possibly in the future, you two can be friends..... Once you let him go, you will let your heart open for the man that God has chosen for you. You should go out with your friends and family. Don't try to contact him. If you meet on the street, you can talk casually. Go and volunteer somewhere so you can put smiles on peoples faces and lift both of your spirits. Move on with your life. There is more to it than that past relationship. Best wishes to you.

Men in general are sensitive-they just have trouble expressing their emotions and telling you how they feel because they're afraid of being rejected or they're afraid of some other consequence. I'm female, cancer, and we are emotional sometimes, but it doesn't have anything to do with our astrological sign-it has to do with how well we can handle things. How were you towards him? Were you kind, affectionate, did you go out much? Relationships can last only if there is open communication and excitement. Perhaps there is a better man out there for you.

Those stars the folks on the earth see out the window as the planet goes thru its year were artificially divided into 12 constellations discussed. There are 19+ of them, actually. Can a "leo" get along with a "cancer"? No. Can a woman get along with a man? Yes, if both decide they want to. My wife and I have enough unlike each other to have PLENTY of reasons to claim we can not be reconciled, except that we have decided to ignore those, work on them, and be happy with each other.
As one who has the anger problem himself, I can also tell you with much certainty that anger has nothing to do with astrology and everything to do with genetics. Ever hear the Scripture, "Sins of the fathers are visited unto the children to the third and fourth generation"? It's true. My grandfather was a very short-tempered man. My father was a short-tempered man. Guess what? So am I. The difference is that, recognizing it, I have worked to be longer tempered . . . but I'm not always successful. This is one of those things my wife puts up with to be with me. That's one of the reasons I love her. Other people have problems with sex sins, others have problems with money sins. But neither my dad, grandad, nor I am cancers. My sister, who is a cancer, does not have anger problems. It's in us males (all three of us Davis males, but not the females.) It is genetic, not the stars.
So, you must decide that, whatever his genetically determined faults, he will work on his, you will work on yours, and you will be happy with each other. That's all it really takes.

Cancer people... lets just say they aren't open AT THE BEGINNING. I guess he doesn't trust you enough or something. Cancer's need assurance and A LOT so its something that takes a while and once they do trust you will they then be more opened and all that good stuff. Give it some time before you try to make peace or just let it go... sorry

It may have nothing to do with his sign. Some men are just that way. He sounds like a jerk and a total moron! If I were you, I wouldn't call him. He isn't worth the trouble. Nice girls do not need or deserve to have a mean, careless man like the one you described. Get on with your life, and act as tho u never knew him. You will be better off. Life is WAY too short to waste one someone who obviously dont know what or who he has. Forget him!

People are different. Do you really think that every single person that was born within a certain time frame acts and thinks the same? Why are twins often very different from each other then? I don't mean for this to sound smart assed at all. I'm just saying everyone is different and no two people are the same.
Learn to judge people based on how they act and treat you, not when they were born.
