In terms of dieting, you should eat small meals every 3-4 hours and that will keep your metabolism steady. Don't consume refined carbohydrates like donuts and such because they will sky rocket your blood sugar and then drop low in no time, so complex carbohydrates are better, like whole wheat and whole grain foods. In terms of exercise, the best time to jump start your day is by working out right when you wake up for as long as you have 10-60 minutes is a great way to give yourself energy. Also, keep yourself hydrated with water and you won't slump for the day.

Well you can start by changing your way of living. Gettting a full nights sleep, drinking plenty of water, cutting out the caffeine and detoxing your body from that, getting a good mutivitamin into your diet, eating healthier like fresh veggies and fruits, cutting out so many sugars because they only make you high and then you crash, getting some exercise and get your heartrate up. Before long you will be feeling good and more full of energy. Also you may want to get your Iron levels checked if you feel you are really dragging. That is what happened to me and found out I was anemic.
