You never have an answer for anything. When asked about your beliefs, you don't have an answer. If God didn't create the world, how did it get here. How did you get here? Give me some legitimate arguments besides a bunch of nonsense.

Mel: Why are you wasting my time. You still didn't answer the question.

Barbara: I'm not bothered that we don't have the same beliefs. What bothers me is that you never have a good argument for your beliefs. "Oh my mom and dad made me." Yeah very argumentative.

I do not know how the world was created as no theory - not even creation - has adequate proof to say it is 100% correct. I do know that complexity does not necessarily have to have an architect and it could have evolved on it's own without some divine hand.
Who made me? My parents - if you look at my chromosomes you will find 23 from my dad, 23 from my mom and no stamp saying the christian deity made me. However, I do have empirical proof that my parents did since I came with a certified birth certificate.
It all comes down to faith which is more opinion than empirical fact. You have faith you were created by something and I don't.
Interesting how it seems to bother some believers so much when not everyone thinks the same as they do.

"When asked about your beliefs, you don't have an answer"
Our beliefs are: WE DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD. That's it. I mean, what are you missing? Are you wilfully ignoring that? How hard is that to get?? So one more time for the record.....
WE DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD.
Sheesh.
Wow. Still not getting it. OK, it's pretty obvious we all believe in Evolution, is it not? And as for the beginning of the universe, I thing the Big Bang is a good starting point, but beyond that I don't know. I'm not arrogant enough to think I could possibly understand how the universe works. That certainly doesn't mean I think some superbeing is responsible. It's OK to say you don't know the answer to that question y'know. What kills me about theists is their obsessive need to explain how it all started. It's a cheap copout to believe in Sky Daddy. I mean why do you even need to believe that to make you happy? Can't you just once say "I don't know"???

Most of the questions are set up in a way that presupposes god.
"How did [the world] get here?" That implies that:
1 - It wasn't here.
2 - It had to be caused to get here.
So, you've asked a question in a specific way in order to presuppose the answer. It is quite legitimate to turn the question around to, "How did god get here?" That requires the same assumptions, but your religious belief make you unable to answer it.
So, I will modify the questions for neutrality, and then they will be legitimate. Each individual can stand as his/her own judge as to whether or not I was fair.
"If God didn't create the world, how did it get here." [sic]
to:
"How did the world get here?"
"How did you get here?"
That one was unbiased. I'll leave that one alone.
If I'm online, I will happily answer neutrally-worded questions. But wording questions in order to presuppose an answer are a pretty low tactic that a person living under the truth shouldn't ever have to resort to.

Simply because many times the questions can be reflected right back. Also many of them are tired of answering the same questions like "If evolution is true, why are there still monkeys?"
According to science, the world (and universe) got here because of the Big Bang. If that's not true, then the answer is simple, we don't know yet, if ever. Just because we fully don't know doesn't automatic mean the Christian God did it.

Well let me start by saying this. If no one was at the beginning of the world then how can anyone explain how it was created? So for me it comes down to this I will believe the only one that was there that is God. For the Bible says "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth". The only problem we have here is that people do not want to believe that the Bible is the word of God given to mankind. It is a book of Gods plan for saving man from sin and from the coming judgment on a fallen world. And how He sent His Son Jesus into this world so that though Him we might be saved from sin and the judgment of God on a world that has rejected Him and His Son that He sent into this world to save man from sin. Now if you or anyone else choose to not believe God as He speaks though His word the Bible. Then I guess they will have to just take their chances on who is right God or man? For me I'll go with God.

Because unbelievers are not looking for God. Until you are looking you won't find Him. Trying to make someone believe the same way you do is often a waste of time and energy. As most of us are not preachers we are bound to muddy the water. Come to think of it a lot of preachers muddy the water. Jesus said "you do not come to me I will come to you" or something along that line. I took that to mean it isn't up to me to convert people as I will just get in God's way. Believe me more people are turned off God by people acting like they are going to fix a perfectly good child of God. There is a proverb about getting the log out of your own eye before you worry about the splinter in someone elses eye.

What you may believe as nonsense others may, and what you believe to be the truth may be nonsense to others. Your truth may not be my truth. You cannot prove you view of God creating everything including evil. I cannot prove my view that everything started off from the big bang which led to this planet being thrown out here the right distance from the sun for life to flourish. In my theory many little things had to line up just right for it to happen. Anyways we all need to tolerate each others views, I didn't say we have to buy into each others view but just tolerate them.

You're very grumpy right now and Christianity isn't helping your mood. Try again on Monday. Until then, just relax and enjoy your Sunday. Stay home "sick" from church, try to make amends with whoever upset you today.

wow is that calling the kettle black. christians are incapable of answering a question without resorting to mythological figures and bigoted propaganda.
if you want to understand the development of the universe, try taking a science course some time - one that doesnt argue the world is flat.

Big bang. Evolution. Study science and find out for yourself.
We never have answers?? That is funny. Science and logic is our answer. Much better then the "God did it" answer for all questions from believers.
