You need to burn more calories then you take in so you either need to diet or you need to work out, Dieting is easier just watch what you eat and eat in moderation. Eat whatever you want but start watching calories, keep a calorie diary. You will soon be able to estimate what you eat. I think calorie intake for women to maintain a healthy weight is somewhere between 1500 -1800 calories a day. In order to loose one pound you will need a 3500 calorie deficit. So cut back a couple hundred calories a day.

eat one good meal a day consisting of no more than 1300 calories, and exercise. Drink just water (1 or 2 cups per day) no salt, no sugar, no caffeine. My one meal is a big bowl of spaghetti (every day) with meatsauce and I've lost 17 lbs so far on that diet. I also take a multiple vitamin (which also has chromium picolonate in them, which makes the metabolism move faster).

Try ordering Adipex. It is a very very effective diet pill, you can get it from a doctor or order it online for a milder version.
My husband lost alot of weight by changing his eatting habits. He eats his heavy meal in the morning and mid size at lunch but something light for dinner. he eats alot of sugar free jello to fill him when he gets hungry because it is just water and very yummy. He also drinks a bottle of water before he sits for a meal so he is does not have as much room. Maybe changing you meals around like he did can help.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

The best way to loose weight is to stop eating after 5:00pm. Of you have to wat, then eat a piece of fruit. Also, switch to diet pop if you drink pop. A friend of mine lost over 60 lbs in 6 months by doing this.
Someone also told me to eat dinner food int he morning and berakfast food at night because breakfast food is not that heavy.
