I've seen questions asked that's make me laugh a little. My sense of humor is probably a little more developed than a lot of overly religious Christians.

We must all remember that although we are basically faceless and unknown on here, there are real people behind all of the avatars
Some good and some bad, some religious and some not, some of various races. This means that some people may get their feelings hurt, it is almost unavoidable.
One persons chuckle or joking manner may come across as mean or anti-whatever race religion or whatever you belong to; to a different person.
Personal interpretation is just that, personal. If people are truly joking, that is one thing. If people are truly malicious and insulting for the sake of being malicious and insulting; that is another.

Now, that's strange, because I seem to recall a bunch of wiccans being quite upset because someone posted a question asking why all Wiccans were fat teenage girls.....
Well, I thought it was kinda cute, given that most Wiccans I know personally...admittedly, not very many...actually ARE fat teenage girls, casting love spells, yet.
I've seen several posts about Christians that have made me chuckle...for instance, there was one that asked how many times Charismatics had to be "slain in the spirit" before they realized they were dead...

I've posted funny questions about Wiccans that were by any standard gentle humor but they still flamed out at me like a blowtorch. Pagans too,no kidding that bunch. Atheists, forget it. They live up to their reputation as sourballs, that's for sure. Here,I'll do it now. Watch what happens.

I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses and I see tons of responses that make me laugh, wondering how people come up with ridiculous ideas about us. But if someone responds in a very rude and offensive manner that is solely and intentionally trying to hurt them, then that's when I get upset.

Although this is not a question, I will say personally as a Christian that I take my faith seriously, but I try not to take myself too seriously. Laughter is a gift from God. We just need to know where the line between funny and offensive/inappropriate is.

you won't be able to be a Christian and carry perspectives that are willfully and diametrically antagonistic to scripture. A Christian is someone who has surrendered their existence to the authority of Christ (see Romans 10:9). no you in all likelihood can be a "self-styled" Christian. you come back on Jesus' words or you do not are available in any respect. The bible is amazingly sparkling on homosexuality and sex outdoors of marriage. pick who you opt to serve - Christ or your self. yet please do not call your self a Christian and jointly oppose Christ. it really is observed as hypocrisy. Btw, gay choose is hence of being born in sin. One ought to have those needs from an early age, in spite of the indisputable fact that the alternative is for sale in no longer being prepared to admit that they are sinful in nature and enable the grace of God to basically substitute you. Many adult males are born with the organic prefer to be heterosexually promiscuous. yet in the experience that they prefer to stay with Christ, they ought to admit that it really is sinful and enable God's grace to regulate them. Gays do not get a pass any more effective than someone with the different sinful inclination. it really is a sin no count how lengthy you've experienced the choose for it. And it really isn't any longer organic, because it isn't area of God's layout for human beings. in the different case He wouldn't have observed as it sin.

I do not... I am a member of a Baptist congregation... how about this one...
The Good Samaritan
I was walking across a bridge one day and I saw a man standing on the edge, about to jump off. So I ran over and said, “Stop! Don’t do it!”
“Why shouldn’t I?” he said.
I said, “Well, there’s so much to live for.”
“Like what?” he said.
I said, “Well, are you religious or atheist?”
He said, “Religious.”
I said, “Me too! Are you Christian, Buddhist or Muslim?”
“Christian”
“Me too!” I said “Are you Catholic or Protestant?”
“Protestant”
I said, “Me too! Are you Episcopalian or Baptist?”
He said, “Baptist”
“Wow, me too! Are you Baptist Church of God or Baptist Church of the Lord?”
He said, “Baptist Church of God”
I said, “Me too! Are you original Baptist Church of God, or Reformed Baptist Church of God?”
“Reformed Baptist Church of God!”
I said, “Me too! Are you Reformed Baptist Church of God, Reformation of 1889, or Reformed Baptist Church of God, reformation of 1915?”
He said, “Reformed Baptist Church of God, Reformation of 1915.”
I said, “Die heretic scum!” and pushed him off
