Hinduism can not be compared with a relegion due to following reasons:
1) All the religions in the world have been started by a certain individual but Hinduism is a way of life comprising all the religions.
2) The Hindu term has been derived by " Sindhu - the river now in Pakistan" & the way of living of the people residing in this area was termed as Hinduism.
3) All the individuals are allowed to chose their path. There is no
hard & fast rule.
3) There are a large nos. of relegions within Hinduism
Hence, in view of the above it can be summerised that Hinduism is a sprituality and also not oppesed to a relegion.

A drunkard also enjoys reasonable spirituality!
Hinduism is perfectly religious!
You are free to add an awareness of yours relating spirituality and a religion! Your freedom to think and act is 'God given gifts'!
Regards!

All religions are supposed to be spiritual only, not only Hinduism.
What we are following today are community cultures, which are xenophobic in nature. So don't have a misplaced pride ie jingo.

Hinduism is not a religion. It is a culture, custom, tradition, way of Hindus' lives in Hindustan (India). It is claimed and insisted as such by all the well known Hindu priests, scholars, intellectuals, books, scripts, the Ruling Party BJP & Shiv Sena, Bajrang Dal, the Indian & International strongest Hindu organisations RSS & VHP, each and every Hindu, etc.

Not quite so .Hinduism is not opposed to any religion or spirituality .It is a scientific culture of ancient origin which encompasses all aspects of life including the worship of god .Other religions confine themselves exclusively to worshipping and believing in, one particular god .Hinduism tells you to remember god when ever you see all or anything that has been made by God .so god is never out of mind of a Hindu..he sees the universe as the god and does not have to seek god and god never plays hide and seek with a Hindu.

Hinduism is Dharma Yoga.
Its the path toward spiritual relization of yourself, your place in the infinite Universe, your relationship with god etc.
But the cool thing is,even an Athiest can be Hindu, thats how flexible it is.They can view god as,reality or as everything or as the big bang or something. They can view god as the impersonable Brahman.

In a way Yes. Hinduism's basis is deep philosophy (like Sankhya, Vedanta, Tantra Yoga.)
Hinduism is not rituals, nor idols or temples. Even if one does not worship idols, does not go to temples, does not perform yagyas....is still a hindu
Remove Jesus and christianity collapses...remove Mohammed and islam collapses... but in Hinduism you dont accept Krishna or dont accept Shiva or dont accept Ganesha/durga.... still Hinduism remains intact
I would say Hinduism is actually a Spirituality...a deep philosophy on which some rituals and worships have been based
thanks .. it was nice qn
