if your dog poo on your shoes, what would you do?

NEVER kick the dog.

I would clean the shoes, and if they still pertained an odor, I'd toss them and purchase new shoes. Then, learn to put my shoes in the closet, to prevent the dog from having access to them again. Also learn to take the dog outside more often, for then he won't have to defecate on your shoes.

I would kick myself for leaving the shoes were the dog could poo on them.. I would then evaluate the shoes and the damage and decide if I felt like cleaning them, if it was worth cleaning them and go from there.. I wouldn't kick the dog... Dog's poo, it happens..

Hold on there, please. Take it easy. First you need to know why your dog did this. Was he just fed, had he not been out for awhile, find out the reason. The next thing is, you need to take responsibility for it, NOT your dog. You wanted him, so it is up to you to be sure all of his needs are met, even going potty. You should be walking your dog every day for at least 30 minutes. Play time and running in the yard is not apart of the walk time.
Remain calm/assertive with your dog all of the time. Give off a good energy and help to teach your dog right and wrong.

I'd get over it and throw them away. Abusing a dog won't do anything but make him aggressive. Rubbing his nose in it would be like abusing him as even a few minutes after they do the act, they don't realize what they did wrong.
