I have a DVD recorder/VCR. The brand name is SV2000 model number WV20V6. It says I have commercial skip, but I have no idea how to do it. And we no longer have the book. I tried to look it up, but can't find it. I'm pretty sure not all machines commercial skip the same way. But can you tell me how YOU use it on yours, and I can try that? If you have it that is. Thanks guys. I HATE commercials! lol

Commercial skip can be as simple as having a button on the remote that allows you to automatically fast forward for 30s
on Pre-recorded programs (usually it looks like a right arrow).

Some more advanced DVRs try to detect and skip commercials during recordings. If you have that option, you usually enable it using the Setup menu.
