I have a huge dilemna! I had an accident back in 2002, I weighed 98 lbs., was a size 0, after my accident I weighed 160 lbs. size 12 in pants. Up to date, I'm 128 lbs. between a size 5 to 7. I'm fine with the weight, I just wish I could get rid of this flabby gut! I mean, I'm fine with my pant size, I just can't stand how the gut looks! I've been recommended to do situps, but I'm wondering, how many should I be doing, and how many times a day? Just once? I also seen a yogurt that helps you reduce weight., will these actually work? Reason why I'm asking, is because when that cereal, Special K came out, and it recommends that you eat it twice a day substituting it for meals and you get to either eat a lunch or a dinner. It seemed to help, should I maybe try it again? I'm so desperate to get rid of my gut! Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you ahead of time!

since we cant choose which body parts to lose the weight off - it has to be overall weight loss.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

The Special K thing is intended as part of a weight loss program. To tone your tummy, you want sit-ups and crunches. It's a muscular issue, not a weight issue.

You could go runninng every other day, do 30 sit-ups in the morning and afternoon, and I think that Special K would really help too. Good for you wanting to get in shape!

Your "gut" could be 3 things:
(a) fat
then you need to do cardio and burn it
(b) flabby muscle
then you need to tone it up
(c) loose skin
then you need a tummy tuck to cut it away
