it is a very bad idea-for several reasons. one, a person who is anticipating chemotherapy will only add more chemicals to their body, ie, the chemicals in hair dyes DO penatrate the scalp and do enter the brain.

other reasons are your hair color won't take while on chemo, the chemicals in hair dye can also counteract with the chemotherapy meds and can actually cause more and quicker hairloss.

chemotherapy is toxic. although the field has found easier to tolerate medications to treat and fight specific types of cancer/disease, hair dye is just as bad even if your not on chemotherapy.

did you know that there is a higher incidence of lymphoma in those who color their hair?

Hair color does not enter the brain. That's a bunch of bullsiil. Save your money and wait until your done with treatment. I was supposed to have my hair colored before I started treatment but told my hair dresser not to bother because my hair would be falling out. Many chemo drugs do cause hair loss and not just on your head.
