i have a xbox 360 and i would like to be able to download movies and watch in another room ?

i have dish satellite and other than unhooking and putting xbox in other room. how can i do this? yes im a dumb computer ignorant redneck, and the cables are triphazards .

The Xbox can work as a media extender but only from your home PC, not from a third-part set-top box.

So, if you download movies to your PC, provided you have Windows Media OS then you can use the Xbox to stream movies from your PC to your Xbox via your home network.
