Call Verizon and talk to a Supervisor. Have the Supervisor get you to the fraud department you have to fill out a Fraud report. Security WILL investigate it and if they find it is definately fraud then they will credit your account. It takes about 30 days but the same thing happened to my boyfriends mother. Good Luck. You just have to be patient.

The first thing you will need to do is call the three major credit reporting agencies and request a free copy of your credit report.

www.equifax.com
www.experian.com
www.transunion.com

Then once you get those in the mail (7-10 days) there will be a dispute form attached to the reports. Fill those out for every negative account on your report regardless. Fax, mail go online whatever it takes to get those submitted as quickly as possible. Then those companies must answer your dispute within 30 days or it is removed from your credit report completely. So that will eliminate some things, hopefully.

Good Luck!

I agree with CH with one exception. Skip the supervisor and go straight to the Fraud Department. The only thing the supervisor in Customer Service can do is transfer you to the Fraud Department. Whoever answers the phone can do that without waisting YOUR time asking a supervisor.

Write a letters to the credit reporting agencies and tell them that these accounts are not yours and that you want them immediately deleted from your account. In addition to this write a letter of complaint to the BBB stating the same facts, in this letter put a copy of letters also that you will send to the credit reporting agencies. Also, send a letter directly to Verizon "demanding" for them to take this debt off your credit reports. They all will respond to you in 30 days. All letters send them "certified" mail only. If you still haven't resolved your issue after the 30 days write to me and I'll see how I can help you out....
