It all depends on how big the tumor is, how much bleeding there is and if the doctors can remove the tumor and stop the bleeding.

Hopefully, the tumor is easy to remove. Sometimes tumors are big and aggressive and attach themselves to internal organs. They use a lot of the body's blood supply so there would be more blood if it burst.

The vets will put her on IV fluids and can also do blood transfusions to help replace her blood supply.

I am sorry to say that you might have to prepare yourself for the worst.

I'm really sorry to hear about your dog. It always sucks to have a family member that is sick.

I wish for all the best with your dog and hope that she comes through alright.

My dog has had internal bleeding before-she has also had tumors. The vet will just need to do a surgery to remove the tumor, and then give her meds to stop the internal bleeding and side effects of the bleeding. Your dog might throw up a lot of blood or defecate a lot of blood, but the meds will help stop that. She should clear up within a week or so.
For future reference, you aren't going to find experienced doctors on Yahoo Answers. They really don't waste their time here, and answering questions without examining a dog poses liability issues. You need to ask your own vet-the one you are paying-for info on your dog.

It really depends on whether or not they take her into surgery, and if they can stop the bleeding quickly. The longer it takes for them to stop the bleeding, the lower her chances are, due to blood loss.

I wish your dog the best of luck, good thing that she's at the animal hospital.

No, tumors don't just burst. In fact tumors will rarely kill directly. They kill by obstructing the function of a vital organ. I'm not commenting further as it would be all guessing about your dog and not help.

Hello..she's at the best place she can be & don't ask for REAL vets or vet advice in here..ASK A VET..you know call one, like the one where your parents are now ...what I've seen in here is alot of Posers..claiming to be VETS, etc & you're asking for trouble...the rest is in God's hands...Take Care

i lost my beloved german shepard max last nov to cancer the cancer didn't burst but his liver did please remember if your dog has cancer then she will be in pain if not now but in the near future if you love your dog which i can read that you do,i am sure that you wouldn't want her in pain, part of loving your dog is knowing when to let her go, i miss my max so much it hurts but i wouldn't wish him back to have a lot of pain there is one thing that you have all your memories spent with your beloved dog, i wish for you that your dog is ok but please know that if she doesn't make it that the love and kindness that you have given her will help her through her passing, my heart goes out to you god bless
