depends on what you are adding. for example if you add 2 apples + 2 apples than you have 4 apples but if you add 2 apples and 2 oranges you have 2 apples and 2 oranges. mathematically speaking 2+2=4 so 2 apples + 2 oranges = 4 fruit.

I have a better question: You wasted 5 points for this???
Well, its four in math and one in quantum mechanics, but WHO CARES...you got your answer here in Greek, Spanish, philosophy, "unreal numbers", the Binary Code, and just plain old 4! 4our.
I honestly advise saving your points for something WORTHWHILE next time.

...Unless watching our anguished answers of marveling at the mediocrity of the question is an enthralling and amusing
fetish to you.
In that case, have fun.
