Good question. I certainly follow your logic. If Adam was created in God's image, then God must have the image of a man. If God created both male and female in their (Genesis says "let us make man in our image...male and female") image, he must have modeled Eve after a female image of God. So Adam was modeled after God, in his likeness, and Eve was modeled after the female Deity that was with God during the Creation--his spouse, consort, or wife. To me this is just logical.
Does God have sex? I kind of cringe at that question. I won't say yes, because I don't know exactly what God does, but I won't say no either. I will say that your conclusions are very logical and reasonable. I do believe in an anthropomorphic God, as he is described throughout the Bible. A God without body, parts, or passions, to me, is a God that doesn't exist at all.

You have started your arguments with a false premise: God is a man! God is neither not man nor women, the idea that God is a Man came about in ancient times when people noticed that in order for "mother" earth to produce or give birth, rain was needed so rain was considered as God's semen, which makes God a Man, and Earth a woman, hence mother nature or mother Earth because when it rained and earth produced vegetation, it was thought that God had impregnanted mother earth; that's where the whole Idea came from!
Gender is necessary for reproduction (though some reproduction are asexual) in most living animals and plants, God needn't have a gender because:
1. He is spirit, not matter
2. He is the creator, not the PROcreator

God the father is a non corporeal being, meaning he does not have flesh like we do. God the Son however when he was placed in Mary's womb he took on flesh. his goal on earth was not to reproduce or satisfy carnal pleasures but to save the world by living a perfect life and dyeing on the cross for our sins. you obviously have put some thought into this question as you use some rational thinking but the difference between God and man and our desires are so far apart we probably could not fathom them. when the devil was tempting Christ, he did not offer women to him. I do find this thought intriguing as at one time that would certainly have been my down fall. that is one of the things I base my opinion on with God the son not having the same sexual feeling we as humans have. this is all purely my opinion

The answer to your question invites a variety of possibilities:
All religion has the concept of god as a man.In most of the ancient religions god is pictured as a male and he too has his consorts. In hindu religion the male organ "linga" is worshiped as a source of power.Greek religion too gods had wives.
How ever the concept of god as a man is created out of pure imagination.
If we study the evolutionary theory- and I believe in it- you know how the sex evolved. In the beginning the cells got divided and could multiply itself. It is much later the sex developed..People with scientific temper should accept evolution and the process of how life evolved and developed etc.
Finally you must know that origin of life itself was an accident.
If you brush aside all the creation stories as they are simply illogical, all your doubts will disappear.

No. Man and Woman were created in God's image.
God created sex so that people would have a way to procreate.
God made sex enjoyable so people would remember that they are participating in a miracle, the creation of a human being.
Now if you could get past making your genitalia the center of your tiny, emphasis on tiny, little universe you might learn something about the rest of life.

Lots of gods have sex or have had sex before they became extinct. Read about the Greek, Roman, Norse or Hindu gods or those of other cosmologies. Plenty of sex at all levels. Zeus even transformed himself into a swan to have sex with Leda and into a bull to have sex with Europa.
If Christ existed, it is very likely he was married and had sex. It would have been unthinkable tfor a 30+ year old teacher not to be married in those days. Some Christians believe Christ was a god or a part of a god.

As much as sex is good for experiencing love, intimacy and joy, it could be a lot different if sex weren't also for reproduction. There is such a thing as asexual reproduction, but sexual reproduction has the advantage of combining DNA from different individuals so whatever harmful genes one parent is carrying, there's a good chance the other parent will contribute a better gene to cover for the bad one. Also advantageous genes can spread this way, rather than just being restricted to one's clones as they are in life that reproduces asexually. Sexual reproduction in bacteria, which is an option for at least some of them, helps to spread antibiotic resistance faster, a good thing from the bacteria's point of view.
Our lives are more designed around sexual reproduction than many people realize. Our lifetime isn't determined by how long it takes us to wear out as much as by genetic mechanisms that stop cell division after a certain number of divisions. As helpless as our babies are, unlike some species, it's good for our species to hang around for a couple of generations to help them out, but then it's good for us to get out of the way and let the new generation of traits determined by sexual reproduction play themselves out.
I firmly believe that God is whoever and whatever God is, not who people imagine God to be, but however one defines God, God has no need to reproduce sexually, so those features of our lives that relate to sexual reproduction aren't necessary for Him/Her. God is love and is certainly about intimacy and joy. I don't know how many ways God expresses that, but there's no need for God to bring sperm and eggs together, so I would think there would be easier ways for God to have joy than everything we do to get joy through sex. Still maybe there's some truth to the idea of God having sex. I think it's misleading to put it that way, because it has to be something different from having sex in the flesh.
How much God is like a man is in the eye of the beholder. Male pronouns don't make a man, and at least some of those references to God as being male in English were neutral pronouns in the original language. Yet as I said, God is whoever and whatever God is, so if He has male genitalia and/or She has female genitalia, it's fine with me if They use them however They wish. If They don't it's fine with me, too. I've gotten used to knowing that I'm here because my parents had sex.

huh? a god could be larger than a guru. a guru is nearly a severe priest. a intercourse avatar could be between a god and a guru (avatar, in case you do no longer comprehend, is the mortal incarnation of a god)

No, he does not. first, God is a spirit, and does not possess human characteristics or limitations; second, that all the evidence contained in scripture agrees that God revealed himself to mankind in a male form. since God is a spiritual being, God does not possess physical human characteristics.
this does not limit, however, how God may choose to reveal himself to mankind. scripture contains all the revelation God gave to man about himself, and so is the only really objective source of information about God.
while God isn't a man, but is a spirit, he chose a masculine form in order to reveal himself to mankind. likewise, Jesus Christ, who is constantly referred to with masculine titles, nouns, and pronouns, took a male form while he walked on the earth.

how was Adam born? since God can do anything and man can make a test tube baby-is God less capable than man, of having the Holy Spirit place the DNA of God into Mary's womb, as the bible says
Jesus said I and my father are one, If you have seen me you have seen the father.
If Jesus isnt God and God is eternal then Micah lied in chapter 5 verse 1&2 "Out of Bethlehem will come the one from Eternity." and to fulfill prophecy Jesus was born there-eternity means no beginning and no end-He was manifested as a point in time-you quote yourself not the Bible to claim Jesus got created
I was thrown out of Judaism for believing Jesus and doing as he says -letting him into my heart to forgive my sins and become my best friend.
how did this happen because I believed what he said about repenting and being born again =John 3.
Jesus loves you heart and soul-he is the only one that lived sinless to as predicted Isaiah 53 to die for your sins "He will lay down his life to make atonement for our sins", and
Jesus offers you to be his personal friend Revelation 3:19&20 Jesus says from heaven (1:1 Revelation) I love you, and knock on your heart door to come in if you repent from sin and ask me in to be your friend."
Only Jesus as he says can forgive sin and become your personal friend in salvation--He isnt a religion He is the Messiah, why not consider unless you as I was are purposefully blinded to truth.
peace be upon you in the prince of peace "Unto us a child will be born, a son given, and he will be almighty God, and the prince of peace." Still in the Jewish Scriptures another proof that the Bible is the Word of God-or they would have changed this not to point to Jesus.
why not consider Yeshua the Messiah for who he is - Mary said behold my savior and my God. about Jesus
have a great day and think about this please
Joseph was espoused to Mary when this happened they were engaged to be married and not alowed to have sex till marriage and adultry would have had Mary stoned to death with the other partner. and yes Jesus was born with a male organ and "He was tempted in all ways like we are yet without sin"-as the bible declares. In heaven the bible says we will be like the angels, not having sex living with our spouse as friends or on our own if never married-that which is joined on earth in marriage is joined in heaven.
