"If you don't have something worth dying for, you don't really have anything worth living for..."

Some people are just totally stupid.

To all the numbskulls here - the poster didn't ask if you would die for your children, he asked if you would die for something you believed in. How utterly stereotypical of your intellectual level.

Instead of just automatically spouting out the 'I'd die for my kids' rubbish, read the fuckking question.

Then again it's probably your default answer for anything you're asked, e.g. Question: do you like sugar in your tea? Answer: I'd die for my kids?

Sure, if our founding fathers didn't die for you we'd be speaking british
If our fathers and great-grandfathers didn't die for you in WW2 we'd be speaking german and saying hail hitler
If our soldiers, sailors, marines, and airmen didn't sacrifice for you, we'd be speaking arabic, praying to allah seven times a day, forcing our wives and children to wear burkas and strap bomb belts around their bodies for the sake of an ideology.
They sacrifice themselves for the sake of selfish ambitions
We sacrifice for the sake of freedom and anyone who desires or wants it.
Something worth dying for? Sure.

Yes I would die for my faith in God. Better to die now with the assurance of eternal life in heaven, than live another 100 years on earth with eternal life in hell.
