My name is Rusne, and I am of Lithuanian origin. My parents named me after a river island in Lithuania, which is called Rusne, and pronounced Ruhs-neh. Many people have a hard time pronoucing it and say it as Roosnee. Do you think my name is nice?

That is a pretty awesome name. How can people say that your name is hard to say, I think it's not hard just Ruh plus s and kn sound plus a sound. It's amazing how your parents can think of a pretty cool name like that. My name is Sovisal. In Cambodian it means "so great", but it mean soy sauce in USA.

It's definitely a nice name. I can't understand how people would have trouble pronouncing it, it's not like there are any strange consonant or vowel clusters that English speakers wouldn't be used to.
