How can that be self love? Have you never been humbled by Grace? Jesus died and rose on the 3rd day, for our salvation and for the Glory of the Father God Who Sent Him. Amen!

No, I love HIM, not me...and I love Him for more than saving me from sin and giving me entrance to His kingdom, as awesome as that is!
I love Jesus because He's there for me...has been ever since I was a frightened little boy getting beat up by my Dad.
Jesus would cause me to feel His love for me. Sometimes I would actually hear Him speak kind words into my thoughts.
So I love myself a little bit, but I love Jesus wayyyyyy much!

Are you talking about Jesus Gomez? He never died for sins.

As for self-love, I disapprove.

That's not why Jesus died, and what's that got to do with self-love?

He died because, despite repeated warnings, he chose to butt heads with the government. Not only did he die, but the government chose to put him to death in a particularly gruesome way, as a warning to other criminals.

The fact that someone, way on down the line, jotted down a fanciful story about the event, and tried to pretty it up to make Jesus seem like a do-gooder is hardly reason to "love" Jesus.

That's sorta like my telling you that Nathan Hale represented the absolute freedom you know today, because he sacrificed his life for his fellow countrymen, and that we should, on a weekly basis, gather and drink wine and eat crackers in memory of him. I'm sure ol' Nate would be pleased, but it would not make you look less insane.

Jesus became all guy. He left his glory in heaven whilst He became born. Jesus is the only that suffered and died for the sins of guy. It had to be a guy. a perfect without sin guy. in the different case His loss of existence does not count style. you think of Jesus had it undemanding? He became scorned, crushed to interior an inch of His existence to the place he became not recognizable, He had thorns caught into his head, and not those little rose bush thorns, He became paraded exceeded a lot of human beings and had substantial nails hammered into his palms and through his ft. He became then raised up on the flow the place He had to breath by potential of lifting up his torso which pulled on the nail in His ft, then He became stabbed in the side and became given vinegar on His lips, through all this, He requested His Father to forgive people who have been inflicting the torture, then whilst each and all the sins of mankind have been thrust on Him, He then felt God`s presence leave and He became fully on my own and passed away. In victory over dying, Jesus rose from the ineffective on the 0.33 day. he's a residing God who needs you to be conscious of ways lots He loves you. it is going to have been you and me and all mankind on that flow, yet fairly it became Jesus. He took our place so as that we are able to decide for Him as our own savior. i don't have confidence any POW could have went through all that, in spite of the fact that what they had to flow through became horrendous.

How is it self-love if you you're admitting to loving Jesus. Jesus love us with an unconditional love and wants us to know him so that we can love ourselves. We must love ourselves in order to reach out to others effectively to help them understand the love of Jesus so that they can lead a productive life in Christ.

Its gratitude.

If someone jumped in front of a bullet for you and died saving your life you would be grateful. If you knew that he also left you a will with millions of dollars you would love him to.

The Will that Jesus left us is eternal life and eternal peace.
