No nuts at all... and no berries of any kind at all. Not until he/she is at least 3 years of age.

No nuts of any kind, including looking at ingredients of cereals, breads and any foods he may ingest for first 3 years is recommended.
I have no peanut allergies on either side of my family going back 3 generations so I did allow my 4 children to try peanut butter around 18 months. I was lucky that they had no problems but would not suggest it for anyone to try.

I would be afraid that anything that small would be a choking hazard. But for the allergy issue, my understanding is that all tree nuts should be avoided if allergies are a concern. Pistachios grow on trees.

Try to avoid all nuts for awhile longer. Due to the chance of choking and in case of an allergic reaction. I would not begin this without consulting
you pediatrician.

He probably shouldnt especially if his teeth have'nt come in..It's not really that the nuts are bad it's just that they can become a choking hazard for some children and even sometimes adults

No as infants and children can be allergic to peanuts. (I should've mentioned the choking hazard as well :) I'm not sure if something that crunchy is safe either. Please do consult with your baby's pediatrician and take good care.
