of something that has to do with religion? For example: I said, "I don't believe in God." Then I get 9 thumbs down, and one thumbs up. Obviously the thumbs down are from those who are are believers. Why can't you just accept that people have different views? You don't have to be pushing your religion or punishing others just because they don't believe in something you do. Seriously, grow up and get over it.

Why would I lie about this? That's stupid. I have another name I use.. I don't generally use this one.

A "thumbs down" rating doesn't cost anyone any points. The person getting them isn't penalized for it. The giver is not rewarded for it in anyway. So who cares if people give them?

That is the name of the game around here, if you disagree gives a thumbs down. It is very immature. I get the thumbs down continually for saying I am not Christian. I do believe in a Divine force but that is not good enough.

It largely depends on the question.
If the question is "what do you believe?", then that's a relevant answer.
However, it astounds me how one can take a question, and use it as a blatant attempt to market their beliefs, even if the propaganda doesn't effectively answer the question. I see both Atheists and Christians doing that.
If I see that, I am inclined to thumb the answer down. I have absolutely no regrets about doing it either.

Hey, Sunshine above me (feel alittle brady in my box here), NOBODY likes to be called "fat". lol!
As for the thumbs down, yes I've noticed. Easily disregarded when you take your answer into account. That aspect of Y!A has become irrelevent and fast. Funny how that can work for you though. Suddenly we're saying things and it's not based on approval! Another freedom!

I don't think that it is rude. I don't care if people disagree with me. They are expressing thier opinions. I give thumbs up or down when I disagree if it is an answer worth commenting on that is. Perhaps you should not let it bother you.

Yes, it is stupid. That is why I think there should be a limit to how many thumbs down a person can give. That way they don't go down the whole thread or be trolls.

[edit] Good detective work arewethereyet. This guy is probably a troll, too.

Yes, last week I said that wiccans were fat and I got about 15 thumbs down. Being called fat is more compelling than any religious argument.

Yeah, it is rude. You should be able to have your own opinion and be fairly judeged. People are just TOO religious.
Personally, I judge on wheather the person is spamming and cursing rather than religion

I think it's even ruder when people give easily verified statements of facts thumbs-down just because they don't like the fact. Even though it WAS a fact.
