Constantine, Council of Nicea and the Roman Catholic Church.

The sabbath is on Saturday :)

"The Sign of the Everlasting Covenant. MESSIAH MENTIONED THE SABBATH IN HIS COMMENTS CONCERNING THE END TIMES MT. 24:20. WE'RE GOING TO LOOK AT THESE TWO WORDS AND THEIR MEANINGS. TEST EVERYTHING YOU HAVE BEEN TAUGHT, INCLUDING THIS ARTICLE, WITH THE WORD OF YHWH -- HE DOES NOT CHANGE. "SABBATH" WILL BE UNDERSTOOD HERE AS THE ACTUAL 7TH DAY, NOT THE CATHOLIC SABBATH CALLED "SUN-DAY" (THE CHANGE ENFORCED BY CONSTANTINE, EDICT OF CONSTANTINE, 321 CE). THE PROTESTANTS INHERITED THE DAY-OF-THE-SUN "SABBATH" FROM THE CATHOLICS. THOSE WHO BELIEVE SUN-DAY IS THE SABBATH MIGHT NEED TO INVESTIGATE THE USE OF THE WORD "SABBATH" IN THE BOOK OF ACTS, IF THEY'VE BEEN LED TO THINK THE APOSTLES CHANGED THE DAY OF REST. ACTS WAS WRITTEN BY LUKE ABOUT 31 YEARS AFTER THE RESURRECTION AND ASCENSION. ALSO, YAHUSHUA (YAHSHUA) MADE THE ESCHATOLOGICAL STATEMENT, "PRAY THAT YOUR FLIGHT WILL NOT BE IN WINTER, OR ON THE SABBATH" MT. 24:20 -- THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO MENTION IT IF HE INTENDED TO CHANGE WHICH DAY IS THE SHABBAT, SO WE WOULD KNOW ABOUT IT NOW. TAKE NOTE: HE MENTIONED THE SABBATH IN THE CONTEXT OF DESCRIBING EVENTS IN THE END TIMES. ALSO, THE CHURCH OF ROME FREELY ADMITS THERE IS NO SCRIPTURAL BASIS FOR THE CHANGE, BUT IT WAS THE CHURCH ITSELF THAT MADE THE SABBATH CHANGE (CONSTANTINE). CONSULT DANIEL 7:25 ALSO, BECAUSE IT PREDICTED THIS CHANGE OF LAW. IS SUNDAY THE SABBATH? THAT'LL BE EASY TO FIGURE OUT ONCE YOU MAKE A STUDY OF IT ON YOUR OWN. IF IT TURNS OUT NOT TO BE, CAN THE POPE OF ROME BE TRUSTED?"

In reply to the below poster, the 4th commandment is on the 6th day, it does not say pick any day. It's a literal day of rest

It was the first Christians. You see, the Jews celebrated the sabbath on saturday, the sixth day of the week which was the last day that God worked before resting on the seventh day. Since the Jews had their day on saturday, the Christians believed that they should have the day of worship and remeberance of Jesus on the day after. Jesus died on a friday and rose from the dead on sunday which led the early Christians to worship Him on the day he rose from the dead. The Jews were given a choice to free one person on the day before the Sabbath and they chose the worst criminal in the land over the savior of the world. What a bad mistake, but it was meant to happen. It was ordained, and it was written.

The Roman Catholic Church did in the year 323 and they freely admit it. After Jesus arose from the dead, he spent an additional 40 days on the earth and never mentioned the changing of the Sabbath day.

The book of Acts discusses how the early church members used to meet on the FIRST day of the week, which was a Sunday in the Jewish calendar.
