Wow, Debra M, welcome back!
I suppose the "creator", being nothing but the indifferent forces of nature, have stumbled into my life by causing the death of someone my husband loves dearly.
Life and death happen every day, and I know it's a fact of the life we all live, but it's so hard to know what to say. I've never been good at comforting and consoling. I guess it makes me see how he deals with grief and how I try to help.
It also makes me wonder whether it's a good or bad thing that I'm more concerned about how he's dealing with this news than the fact that someone actually died. I mean, I've met her, she was a very good lady, very kind, very beautiful, and it does make me very sad that she's gone... but to be honest, I've been more concerned about the effect this will have on my husband. He's already suffered tremendous losses in his life and this seems like too much.

There was a slight smile on my stepdaughter's face today. She went through a very very bad experience and we thought she might not recover mentally. But the Lord gave me great hope today when she was able to smile! I know in my heart He will get her through this! It was like the seeing the sunshine for the first time! Made my heart rejoice! Praise the Lord! He is so good!

I talked to him today and got a response. I felt so very happy! I place all of my hopes on his future arrival, to help carry my personal burdens!
Yep, I called him on my cell this morning. My dad's coming up to help me pack after these horrid exams, and he'll carry all the boxes downstairs. Praise the father!
Best of all, he doesn't expect anything from me in return.

I am alive and healthy. What other proof do I need. I feel closest when I witness kindness from one stranger to another. It doesn't happen very often, but it is nice to see when it does.
