it always upsets me when almost every one, from where ever Blames everything on Religion.
why cant we all see with our eyes and hearts, that
a man or woman behind any religion is responsible for their own actions. Not the Religin it self.

Preach it sister. I agree. We are all humans w/ free will to make our own choices. Others blame religion & christianity for everything. The problem w/ religion & Christianity is that it is full of flawed human beings. You can't compare God to flawed human beings. duh! WE all fall short, no matter what religion. We are not God, we are just his creation & his children (every single one of us whether you believe it or not) He loves us and wants us to be in a relationship w/ Him not religion. I kind of got off the subject, but oh well.

I do not blame religion for wrongdoing. I blame people. I dislike religion because it should be obvious that the horrific evil that goes on in this world is evidence that there is no loving god. Why would a loving god allow the suffering of the innocent. Why would a loving god have created a world with natural disasters like tornadoes, floods, hurricanes, lightening, harmful bacteria and disease. If there is a god that does not have the power to create a world without these evils then "god" is not powerful...and therefore there is no creator. If ''god'' could have created a world without these things and chose not to then he is not a loving god and is evil himself. So I blame human beings for believing in a god that will "fix'' everything and this prevents people from taking action to ''fix'' the problems in this world.

faith creates a reason-free zone the position the acts you element out flourish. So Christianity 'inspired' the crusades. Exploring the ethics of our moves for ourselves is discouraged by religions, who instead desire deferral to authority figures. This creates the an ethical vacuum with disastrous effects for man or woman morality and wider society.

it would be nice if people could separate people's actions from religion the problem is that if a person is introduced to a religion mainly by people that do bad things then it is reasonable to think that there is something about the teaching of the religion people say they belong to.

If you study world history there is one overwhelmingly consistent theme common to all human civilizations, people happily commit murder in the name of religion and politics. Religion is the single greatest force for evil in the recorded history of humanity and politics is a close second. At present, our government has managed to combine religion with politics. There is nothing more dangerous to the continued survival of human civilization than mixing ignorance with bigotry.

As long as the warring parties continue to claim either to be fighting to preserve their faith, or have God on their side, then religion will continue to get the blame it deserves.

Think 9/11 would have happened without religion?

This post would have been much better if you had attached some violin music to it. That way, people would tend not to laugh at it. You central notion is basically very silly, but nice try anyway, given that you had to do this without the sad music.

Religion takes away your ultimate free will because it places the FEAR of God in you. You really do not have a choice, if you know God will punish you. Your decisions will be easy ones.
We blame religion becuase of their philosophical approach. Sure it is the people of that religion, but that religion is part of the people.

There's nothing wrong w/ religion or having faith...but some religions are preaching to be bias or discriminate against certain groups, or their actions are wrong. Religion has caused numerous amounts of wars and deaths in our history, because of man's moral standpoints and judgments

BINGO! you are correct, my great friend.

but people are too close-minded to realize this. they think by blaming religion for people's actions that they can turn others away from that religion.
