it all depends on whats cool, if you want an economical plane then the diamond da20 is great, cruses at 150MPH and burns 5 gallons per hour=30 miles per gallon, not to shabby for todays gas prices, the hugest would be the antatov (i think i spelled it right) 225 mira, ITS HUGE. the sr 71 may be the coolest but you cant even buy one so thats not cool. but if i had a good amount of money to buy a plane i would buy an extra 300, +/-10 G's

SR 71 Blackbird, Fastest, highest flying and can out run a missile. The frame and panels grow while in flight, so it leaks while on the ground. hits 3200 miles an hour at 90,000 feet .only two "planes" were faster. The X 15 and the Space Shuttle.

The YF-23. It lost out to funding to the YF-22, now the F-22 raptor. I thought the 23 looked way cooler!

SR71 Blackbird without a doubt. It's the fastest plane to ever fly.

It would have to be the Spitfire. Cool then and cool now. Can't beat the noise of a Rolls Royce Merlin.
