I think if we let our steam out gently, gradually, over time, the results need not be too disastrous.

The biggest challenge is / would be 'confession'(s).

Important question.

The answer's harder to realise than to give. :-)

No more chaos than my life, since I am rarely able to keep my mouth shut, or my hands from typing. My friends actually put duct tape on my mouth, held my hands behind my back, and started a debate on something I feel strongly about. I started arguing, and I didn't stop until the duct tape came off. Literally talked the duct tape off of my face. I'm rambling, neh?

This is a really tough predicament because some lies are told simply not to offend a person. But there are lies that are told simply because they are meant to deceive people. If people stopped lying to deceive people maybe the world would be a much more better place to live in.

No the world woud be infinitely better, if all the lying stopped. Imagine no more false politics, religions, philosophies. As a Christian, I am all down for that.

no...but only if there were no such thing as rudeness. ^_^ I think that always telling the truth would allow people to work towards truths in the things that they do instead of working towards/for lies. ie: they would work on bum excercises ^_^

We should always speak the truth, except in cases where it inflicts injury....in that case, we should be
kind and tactful .... or silent!

Why don't we stop asking stupid questions that put people on the spot if we don't really want to hear the answer?
