find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Stay away from the white stuff like potatos, rice, bread (except 100% wheat & whole grain) sugar etc. Switch to high protein. Protein shake in AM w/ fruit or protein bar or eggs & toast w/ milk. They say if you drink 3 glasses of milk per day you will loose weight. Anyway, fruits & veggies are good. Exercise at least 4 times per week. Walk 1-2 miles or go to gym.Stay away from fruit juice as it is STRAIGHT SUGAR just in natural form = but it is still sugar. Have a well balanced supper and modify the portions. Do this for a couple weeks and I think you will see a difference. There are also amino acids that can help curb hunger:

I had alot of success in the last 2 months. I went from 230 lbs. to 195 lbs. in 2 months. My goal is 180 lbs. My method is extreme but it worked for me and I feel healty and stronger. Here is a list of what I do and eat.

- I run 4-5 miles every morning and 4-5 miles every night.
- I go to the gym to lift weights every other day.
- Drink 3 servings of whey protien shake with soy milk a day.
- Eat 3-5 servings vegetables and fruits each day
- Eat moderate servings on unslated almonds and walnuts
- Drink lots of water with real sqeezed lemon
- Drink 2 cups of green tea a day
- Moderate servings of oatmeal and flaxseeds
- Eat chicked breast every other day
- Take 1 multi vitamin a day

In short; Lots of excercise (this is a must), high protien, good amount of fiber, veggies and fruits, good fats, vitamins, and lots of water.

Counting calories and walking did it for me. Not sure how much a man needs per day, but for women it's 1200. At first it's a pain, but then you get used to it and know more or less what's in your food. Keeping it off takes vigilance. Don't go hog wild once you've lost all you want. Indulge sometimes, but be careful the rest of the time, and you'll stay trim.

Simply put....Burn more calories than you take in. It's easy. You can lose weight while ingesting the same amount of calories by stepping up your activity to burn those calories. Or you can continue your present rate of activity but reduce your calorie intake. What is more important is staying healthy while loosing your weight. You want to eat the right kinds of food, while cutting down on the empty calories ( like cutting down on drinking soda) and cutting down on your fat intake, etc. Mindset and motivation helps. Everything in moderation. Drink plenty of liquids. Eat to live...Don't live to eat.

Everyday exercise. Run, take walks, and eat alot of healthy foods. Dont just sit around and eat bags of potato chips and stuff. Alot of people actually get personal trainers to help to.
