Brett - What's the point when the same challenges are repeated, the takers ignore the challenger, and the challenger ignores the answers?

The whole POINT of YA is to get your point across! You don't answer a question without giving a reason. As I am an atheist, I won't say 'Evolution is real,' without giving a reason why I believe so. And to counter my argument, a christian won't say 'I believe in god because I do.' No, they'll give a reason and make a point as to why they think this. Or if you ask how you do something, I'm going to put a reason of why you should do it my way. I have to make a point to make my answer reasonable.
Why do you people waste your time writing stupid questions?

Did you ever notice that "repeats" are the same with anything? Magazine articles, self help books, cooking...and the list goes on and onnnnnnnn...because like some people said,"new people check out the site, new people have "grown up" and need the info.......new generation...and so on and so on...and it will continue on..........as magazines were donated not too long ago, i noticed this same situation, the magazines were from a few years back and yet, info still being repeated NOW...............this is part of life?

Maybe some of the people asking those things are new on here and don't realise the questions have already been asked though.
In any case it"s no big deal is it? There are worst things to get upset about in the world than a repeat of questions on some web site. Chill out man.

Hi, uh yeah, well, maybe people keep asking the same questions over and over again to see what new answers they will get. And don't forget, there are always new people just starting out on YA, and haven't gone back 3-360 days to see what questions have been asked and answered.
I know it is tiring to see the same questions all the time, and it is frustrating that in most cases you still can't get your point across. Just skip over the duplicate questions. There is no rule that you have to answer every question.
Be Well.

Are you talking about the questions or answers? Do you really want to know what people think or don't you? What would you rather we say? It's true that some questions don't really seem like questions but straight out comments. They're just looking for people to agree with them. That's annoying.
If you don't want to hear these answers, why not just qualify your question with the above comments. Begin with,"don't say...". Is there a group of people who need not answer? Better let them know ahead of time. Don't like the questions? Talk to the Yahoo people. Looks like you've made your point too.

I wholeheartedly agree! I have been scanning questions all throughout the day, and this is the first one that deserves an answer in R&S. The pettiness of some people know no bounds! Thank you. :)

I am with you, I want to get into more depth questions, to get people thinking.
Incidentally I am one of those "Did you know" people from time to time but this to stimulate new discussion and not necessarily used to bash anyone's beliefs. I believe people should know what they believe.
