Crest Spinbrush is okay. Not the best in the line of electric toothbrushes. A great starter toothbrush. The only thing is the battery compartment is REALLY hard to take off. And water can sometimes get in and start to erode the battery. You'll end up throwing it away. I would suggest instead the Oral B crossaction, about same price. Some ppl just replace the whole thing since the replacement brushes are the same price. You might have a problem w/both of them if you have smaller teeth. The heads are pretty big. Since both of them use batteries, it's weak compared to the plug-in ones. But both are better than manual brushes. Don't brush like a reg brush, don't scrub. VERY important. It'll damage ur gums if u do. Let all electric brushes do the work. If u apply too much pressure, use 3 fingers on the handle instead. At under $6, go for it, it's cheap and won't hurt much if u don't liek it. I used all oral b and crest electric brushes. But finally use Sonicare because it has super soft brushes among other things.

The spinbrush pro is ok, but I thought it was annoying having to change the battery all the time. It seemed to use batteries fast and it would slow down a lot as the batteries wore out and I'd have to use it like a manual toothbrush. I'd say it's worth the money, but the batteries were a hassle for me, enough that I stopped using mine and went back to manual until I eventually got a rechargeable brush. If you are willing to spend a little more, the oral b vitality is $20 and rechargeable, making it a really good deal for an electric toothbrush.

I don't recommend them. They are a bit rough on the gums and they do a terrible job on the backs of the teeth. most of them have a too large head that doesn't allow for proper position to clean well. always use a SOFT bristle brush.

I agree with the answers above that say it's merely "Okay." If you are not going to get a Sonicare, though, the Spin-Brush is as good as any other fancy brush out there, in my opinion.

I have been using it for years. My dentist suggested getting an electric tooth brush. I have not had any problems with gums, or enamel.

That is a very good choice. However, you should not use it every day as it will wear down the enamel and gums.

Any spin brush is good because as you are brushing it massages your gums. Good for gum disease and when you go to the dentist, your gums bleed less.
