THe question is how far along on the lease are you? Any dealership wants to get you into a new car, believe me. They do not make any money if you do not get a car. The position is how much money you will need to pay to get out of the lease. Or, how much is rolled over into the new lease. I had a customer that leased a new 300, and came back in 2 months later, after they found his wife was pregnant and they had decided to get a Chrysler Pacifica. We got him out of his lease without any problem, but the issue was the amount he was going to pay for his other vehicle. He ended up paying about $350 more per month than if he just came in and leased the Pacifica. Any dealership will try to work with you and get something done, it just depends on what it is they can do. In addition, if you are really wanting something done go in and look during the last 3 days of the month. The other rule of thumb would be on the last Saturday of the month. Dealerships focus on this, and need to make quotas.

Wait until 4-6 months before the end of the lease. Most dealers will try to find a way to eat the loss, keep the car to use in the dealership, or negotiate with the finance department. Mercedes has an early out program if you are leasing another Mercedes.

Yeah, I'd guess Chrysler or Dodge too. Maybe Ford. They seem to be in the weakest positions economically, and thus the most eager to do what it takes to sell a new car.

Definately Dodge. Dodge is really pushing its product followed by Toyota. Toyota is really trying to stay at the top of automobile sales. Dodge though, will do just about anything to sell you one of its vehicles.

Right now none of the companies are offering this like they did a couple of years ago, auto sales will have to fall again before they offer it again.
