Even that won't work. Out of sight out of mind is a cliche that is full of sh*t. The only way I have fund that is FINALLY starting to work is every time he enters my mind I remind myself of all the lies he told me and all the times he hurt me on purpose. Then I remind myself that I will NEVER trust him.

I know that it sounds a bit hard but the best way to forget a guy or any other painful relationship is never to try to forget him. Even if we try, the feelings are going to be inside our mind. Dont forget him rather think what made you come to the decision that you should forget him .Therein lies the answer. You are asking this question because in some part of your soul you know that this guy should be left behind.Just try to ask yourself-why.Then it would take you just a few seconds and a deep breadth to get him out of your mind into the recycle bin. And yes, dont forget to delete him from there too.
BEST OF LUCK

Why do you want to forget about him? In any case some say, 'Absence makes the heart grow fonder - too long makes it wander'

Do you really want to forget him, or is it more that you want to deny you had feeling towards him?

Whatever guy you have, sooner or later you are going to find out he is not Mr Absolutely Wonderful.

Once you are prepared to accept a chap as he is, with all his shortcomings then you know you love him. For now, just accept your feelings and move on.

Get a photo of him and pin it onto a dart board.

Get a few bottles of wine in, invite your mates over, have a good game of darts.

Then, you and your mates hit the town in your glammest gear.

You know it makes sense.

alcohol. lots.
keep drinking until it all goes fuzzy
ah, but be careful you dont end up legless on his front lawn either shouting abuse at him/his neighbours/family or screaming that you love him and would gladly die for him...etc

actually, stay away from alcohol for a while..

try doing dot to dots... theyre diverting

well, first, you should get rid of every thing he gave you. then, wallow and cry, but most importantly, remember he won't be the one and only.
