The fact that you had to ask leaves me to think you consider yourself beautiful and are therefore arrogant and rude yourself.

You get what you give.

Honestly I think I have known more rude "good looking" people.

Without getting into a HUGE discussion on psychology, some people with attributes and stations in society get more handed to them than others.

I would submit it be the opposite. If someone who is considered by social standards as Beautiful would be apt to be more rude. Because rudeness many times is simply anger from expectations that have not been met.

So Good looking woman enters a store. The store clerk is helping non-good-looking people so the good looking person expects help right away because they are good looking and that’s how life has been to them.

The clerk doesn’t help them because he is helping someone else and then when the good looking person mentions they need help right away the clerk tells then they are helping others.

The good looking person is now feels hurt and anger because their expectations were not met. Thus they think the clerk was rude, and likewise the clerk could think she was rude.

So if you think un-attractive people are rude and you think you are attractive then maybe it’s you that’s rude..

I do not find attractiveness the criteria for rudeness. What makes a person truly attractive is the overall presentation of the person. If a person is attractive and self-centered, that person seems very ugly to me. If a person is not particularly attractive to look at but is pleasant, helpful and predictable, a good listener, and has developed some gift they were given, that person seems interesting and beautiful. We seem to define attractiveness a bit too narrowly in this day and age. Skinny rock stars are glitzy but they all seem to look alike. They all have had orthodontia, nose jobs and other corrective measures. What they do to maintain their publicity is sometimes very ugly. They seem to believe it is okay to do anything and there is no restriction or ethical consideration they must follow. Young people try to be like them. That is pathetic and very sad. I hope you are not one of the sad people who believe that wearing the latest trends in clothing, hairstyles and big orthodontia corrected teeth makes you beautiful.

Not always ! it effect them in two ways....either get inferiority complex and then they get rude and are usualy irritated and sick of others....but i have seen some who were very humble and nice and their this quality had dissolved the defect in their appearace...thats why i believe one should be beautiful from heart becuase that is a realy beauty......Btw if i see some beautiful person being rude....i don't feel attracted rather i am repelled and that apparant beauty just fads away ! it work in that way too !So both supriority and inferiority complexes are worse.....A perosn should live on normal level !

What a rude thing to say! It's not that unattractive people are rude, it' more like rudeness is always unattractive.

If people studied and practiced manners, rudeness would be a thing of the past. Manners are the antidote to rudeness, not plastic surgery.

I personally do not find unattractive people to be rude, or at least not all of them. I have met my share of rude attractive people, and some rude unattractive ones.

They can sense that you feel them to be un attractive and so they try to un attract you, right off.

And why is that so many attractive people are so rude?

What an assumption.

Maybe it's because unattractive people like us are so jealous of your attractiveness that we feel that we must be rude to make up for our horrific appearances.

Maybe.

I think that I would honestly like to know how you came to that conclusion. Seriously. To answer w/o knowing your reasoning I would have to say that you don't have to be ugly or pretty to be rude. Rudeness knows no specific trait. Rude is Rude is Rude!! My husband tells me I'm rude all the time. And I am absolutly gorgeous!!!!!:)lol

Not all unattractive people are rude. You may have just had too many negative experiences with people you think are unattractive. And what might be unattractive to you might not be to someone else. Don't be so shallow.
