This war has been going on for years between the people who live over there & now here comes the American's!!!! I believe after 911 we needed to go but it's time to bring our troops home because it isn't going to get any better only worst. This "WAR" is one that we can't "WIN" and our guys need to come home "NOW" so many young people are losing thier lives. I don't care how long we stay there & try to educate them & set up a Government for them it just won't work. Bring our guys home.

There is more to winning a war then number of deaths. We did pretty good in the two World Wars despite a huge loss of life.
The Iraq situation is not pretty, but it is getting better. I think the surge will prove to be a needed boost.
If we would have had the numbers we needed in the first place it would have not been such a mess. Do you happen to know how many people were used in the first Gulf War? Roughly 880,000. Do you know how many people were used in the 2003 Invasion of Iraq? Around 300,000. Now there is only about 160,000 Americans there.
We are still suffering from Clinton cutting our military by almost 50%.

It sounds like you need to improve your critical reading skills.
It was not the 'worst month' It was the 'worst mont' in the past six months.
And where do people get off thinking that Iraq is in a 'civil war?' The news media's attempt to increase ratings by exaggerating does not make something a 'civil war.'
Contrary to the myth being spread around - the Shia are not fighting the Sunni. Instead there are three groups of terrorists with conflicting goals.
For example the Iraqi Shia are not killing the Sunnis. Instead there are Iranian backed terrorists killing Sunnis.

you're biased, and persons will believe you. Such is existence. Saddam is going to be hung next month for committing genocide. Are you heavily advocating the protection stress persist with Saddam's lead and commit much extra war crimes? on your own sake, turn down the Limbaugh and bypass examine the form.

i know that last year was the bloodiest mounth for the troops and i am very sorry, but it was the bloodiest mounth for the Iraqis, too. but what you have to know that it was the bloodies month for the terrorists, too. so we are making agreat progress together (Iraqis and the troops), but no one mention that in the media, i am an Iraqi and i can see that we are getting better day after day.

We can't police the street wars in downtown LA, either. Should we pull out there, too?
