The fastest, easiest, most effective, and most economical way is to use Proactiv. It really does work. Also check out www.acne.org and click on Treatments and then click on The Regimen. The Regimen is very sound advice and is a great substitute to Proactiv. Also, don't EVERY pick at a zit or touch your face a lot during the day. And, DO NOT over dry your face which leads to an overproduction of oil and more zits ... best of luck!

Nothing works better than a facial at a salon. They're pricey, but worth saving up for! Go online and type in your zip code and "facials" and results will tell you where to get it done (although places like Aveda and resort spas are the best). The longer your facial is, the more expensive. During facials, what they do is first wash your face. To get rid of blackheads, they do a smell technique where they squeeze them out in a special anti-bacterial way. (This part hurts, but hey, beauty is pain. Your friend might want to ask for a soothing creme or something.) Then they do multiple masks, cremes, and so on. By the end of the facial, the customer's face will be red, but it'll disappear in a day or so, and you'll find better results. Get a facial every month or so to keep the acne and blackheads from coming back.

Or try a dermatologist. Get a free consultation to see what the stakes are, and if they're in your price range and you're satisfied with what they're going to do to you, then go for it!

Hope I helped! Good luck for your friend....

See a dermatologist.

A specialist can help with specific treatments.

1. Reduce oils.
2. Wash frequently
3. Avoid creams, lotions and make up
4. Watch your diet
5. See a doctor about possible immunity issues and proneness to bacteria
6. Do not scratch, pinch, poke, or squeeze -- you will have a scar
7 Astringents will help reduce oil and build up
8 Scrubs will help reduce debris, build up and bacteria (exfolliate)
9 Look at your family history -- did other relatives also experience acne
10 Stopping stressing

We all have imperfections.
