I want a portable gps system for my car. I am not looking to spend more than $350. What are some good ones?

I would preferebly like one that has voice prompts. I have seem some for over $1000, what are the differences between those and the ones that cost much less?

HP has the travel companion, which includes GPS, mail reading, etc. for about $550.
