yes, I do. I do everything i can for my kids. I can't do everything and I make mistakes, but so does everyone. But I am a good parent because I put them and their needs first and do everything I can to make them happy and make sure they are well taken care of

I dont think anyone can say they are a good parent. What may be good in your eyes may not be in someone elses or even your kids. I'm a parent and i would say i have tried to be as good as i could possibly be and hope that my children have learnt well from me even if i havent been everything they wanted me to be and that they are sound, stable human beings.

Im older and I did the best I could possibly do. I hated to verbalize our problems in front of the children and tried real hard not to. They are grown and positive people. Although this was impossible at the time because my husband felt otherwise. They are paying for the verbal abuse from him. Yet I gave them their moral support. and used good sense in raising them. I do consider myself a good mother. They are children I can be proud of. And I still help when they come to me with their problems.

I don't know, cause I haven't got any children yet.

I'm an only child; so if I had children, I would be quite harsh, strict. I'm just too selfish; I didn't really learn how to share with others. But I think that my children would respect (or hate) me because of my strict rules... They will be my most important things in my life, though.

hi...

i have definitely made my share of mistakes in life. both personally and in my parenting....

when i felt i made a mistake with my kids, i told them so.. it was very difficult... but i apologized to them and taught them respect by respecting them first.

both of my kids are adults now, and we have great relationships... always did. i must have done something right?

parenting isn't the easiest thing in the world, and i'm sure many of us have wondered if we are doing the right thing during the course of our lives.

i say, just do your best, admit your mistakes.

take care.
