Wait until both people are comfortable with the idea. Whether that's hours or years is entirely up to the couple in question.

Anytime a guy and girl have sex they ALWAYS run the risk of making a baby.Even if birth control is used it DOES have a failure rate and a lot of people do not use it. Next you ALSO open yourself up to being dumped after sex if it turns out to just be lust, and then theres all the emotional trauma and drama. You open yourself to being used getting std's being hurt emotionally and your self esteem and reputation ruined.Wait until you have known the person for a yr or 2 and if they propose or you want to propose then you know theyre willing to committ to you then wait until youre married and it wont be "ho hum been there done that" on your honey moon.

when I was in highschool I dated a boy for two years and we never had sex yet.
when I was 21 I had sex with a guy on the first night I met him.
so It really depends.

either 3 dates if you dont really know the person and youre getting to know them!!
or 1 month if u know the person and youre seeing them properly
NEVER on a first date specially if you're a girl you just look easy and you will get used!!
