Can you breathe fine through your mouth? If so, there is nothing serious to worry about. Nasonex takes about five days to work, but once it starts, it works great. Just hang in there, you will feel better in just a few days.

Yes, I was lying in bed one night feeling as if I was slowly suffocating. Thought nothing of it, thought it was all in my mind. I had a deep desire to jump in the car and head to the local beach, at 3am, come on? Anyway the following day I went to the Doc and said 'I feel as if I am being smothered?' He checked me out and said 'You have a serious chest infection' then prescribed antibiotics. I had NONE of the usual signs like cough, fever, sore throat, just this smothered feeling. It is not a nice feeling, but you have to wait for the antibiotics to kick in as they WILL do.
