I know of people who do. It will depend upon your status during your deployment. I worked with an AF officer who coordinated CAS for our unit. He was attached to my unit fo those duties. Because he was attached to an Army unit and earned the patch under Army regulations, he was authorized to wear it. It is similiar to former Marines who eared medals and subsequently served in the Army. They are authorized to wear the Marine Corps awards on their Army uniform. You need to look at the Awards and Decorations or Wear and Appearance of Uniform regulation.

maybe with the BDU's not with the ABU (Airman Battle Uniform)

I don't know what the reg is, probably 35-10, but I am certain that you can't do it.
