Make sure you have enough air in the tires
Your handle bars are straight
You have the frame and everything else in connection
You have foot pedals
Your chains greased
You have reflectors on front and back
You have a nice BIG padded seat.
A small name tag hanging off your seat
And a nice big horn to blow your friends off the road.

If you do a fair bit of riding each year you should have one done every year, you'd be surprised how much better it rides after.
