Look up 'Patron Saints Index" in Google,look up a category and pick a saint whose life you find inspiring. A Confirmation name should reflect your choise to become a person who'stands up for Jesus" the way the Saints did. Also, there are many saints names that are good-sounding!
You could also try Thurston/Attwater's Butler's Lives of the Saints or Delay's Dictionary of Saints or OSV Encyclopedia of Saints

Think about the things in your life that you need help with. Then go to the link below and find a saint the is associated with those things. It would be more meaningful if you choose a saint that has meaning in your life rather that choosing one based on who someone else tells you to choose.

Go to http://www.americancatholic.org/Features/Saints/byname.asp and start reading the lives of some of the saints. Chose a patron saint that you connect with.

you should get a saint it relatively is a buyer of something you do.. Like do you like song? St. Gregory Do you return and forth lots? Saint Michael Archangel Do you like learn? St. Matthew or St. Thomas Aquinas Are you an artist? St. Luke Athletes - St. Sebastian Dancers - St. Vitus canines enthusiasts - St. Roch

You should pick a saint who you want to be like. If you have a patron or favorite saint, pick that saint.
