I study the Bible because it is instruction for my life, it is what my savior has commanded me to do. The bible is true and prayer is my direct line of communication with the Father.
Those who study the other religions you are talking about will have to answer to the Lord on judgment day for questioning the Bible and everything else they choose to rebel against.

The Bible says itself, you see but you don't see, you hear but you don't listen! Jesus is the Word and as Jesus is the truth, the way and life, the Bible is then the truth, the way and life. In the Bible, there is everything for each situation cause Ecclesiastes says there is nothing new under the sun. The Bible is so rich that even reading it blesses you. Anna was without child she received her answer in 1 Samuel 1, Esther was without husband and love, she got married and became queen Esther 2, 16-18... Jesus feeds the hungry, clothes the poor gives living water to the thirsty ones, he heals the body, the soul and the mind... so He can help you come through this 21st century depression!

I'm not entirely sure I understand your question here, but if I read it correctly, I think you're asking why, if "true" born-again Christians believe in the Bible, doesn't everyone believe in it? It sounds like you're asserting that because born-again Christians believe in the Bible than logically it must be true. Am I getting this right so far?
If that's what you're getting at, then you're slightly off-base here. Certainly, there are millions of Christians around the world, born-again and born just once, that whole-heartedly believe that every word in the Bible is absolute fact. Does that mean it is so? No, certainly not. Thousands of years ago, the brightest minds in the world, indeed the mass majority of the world, believed that the Earth was flat. We have since proven that to be false. In Ancient Greece, people believed that lightening was wrought by Zeus. Again, that myth has been busted. The point is that, those ancient peoples believed what they did because they looked around at the world and have questions about it with no real ways to answer those questions, so they believed what made the most sense at the time.
Just because a few million people believe something, doesn't make it true.

I am a born again Christian and over the last 8 months i have really studied the Bible, even though i was raised in a Christian home all my life. I found happiness and peace like i have never had. I made the things i read in the Bible my own because i know it is true. I talk with the Lord like he is my best friend and i lean on Him when ever i need a friend.

Many things are involved in understanding the Word of God. Spiritual blindness is one , or a Deaf spirit is another. Ignoring because of being caught up in youth or the world is another major obstacle. Prophesy is being fulfilled in that the gross darkness will be over the earth. Gross darkness = no spiritual understanding.
If there is ANY, that CAN, while they CAN, seek the Truth........

The whole thing is similar to the belief in the use of tarot cards or belief in ghosts. There are believers and skeptics of the bible as well. With card readings believers "see" the answers in the pictures/meanings of the cards. Skeptics find ways to "disprove" these cards' meanings. With ghosts, believers will see what they believe is spiritual activity and skeptics will tell them that it can be scientifically proven false, somehow. In the bible, true born agains will find answers in it even if the same passage appears to answer two different prayers differently, while skeptics/other religions see the passages as nothing but a man made account of what supposedly happened during those times. And if it is man made, therefore it is faulty. It really all comes down to human perception. One can chose to see the glass as half empty or as half full.

Those of The True Christian Faith know The Bible dose not prove God.... God proves The Bible, to those open to the leading of God, through The Holy Spirit. Only those open to the leading of The Holy Spirit will find what God has for them in The Bible.
Others do not know The Truth of God.
All who come to God in The Way He prescribes will receive His free gift of Salvation. Those become part of The Body of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head. Those are the ones of The True Christian Faith. Only those of The Church will enter heaven.

Because Christians who have studied the word and have a relationhip with God know it works. The word of God is living, powerful and true--God is real. He "proves" Himself to those who sincerely seek Him and study His word.
Others try to add to God's word instead of accepting the Bible as the ONLY word of God. They are false teachers and find fault with the Bible because it doesn't back up the heresy they teach. They are deceived.

Tami, the only answer to your question that will truly fulfill your need to know this is if you take it upon yourself to do the exact same thing. Study the bible, read it, seek God's revelation in your life of His word. You will find answers beyond your imagining.
